Mowder Consulting was founded by J.J. Mowder in 2002.
Our mission at Mowder
Consulting Inc. is to educate physical and occupational therapists
through the use of evidence-based practice while at the same time
motivating the therapist’s desire to learn more and challenge
themselves. Our seminars are based on the foundation of
evidence-based practice using the latest research from scientific
journals. In addition to this high quality educational experience,
a Mowder seminar aims to give the therapist a renewed motivation
towards there career.
We believe every
therapist has a significant contribution to give to the discipline,
but sometimes needs a new perspective and a functional approach to
realize their potential. The therapy professions are very
challenging and our goal is to educate and motivate the therapist so
when they return to work, they treat their patients with renewed
optimism using the latest strategies.
Mowder Consulting is
proud to present education experiences that provide practicing
clinicians with realistic and functional strategies for every
practice setting. These practical techniques can be immediately
implemented the following day at work. The strategies are taught
with an emphasis on problem solving to achieve optimal outcomes. In
today’s high stressed healthcare field the focus on reimbursement is
an unfortunate reality that therapists have to work in. Mowder
seminars will assist with reimbursement by teaching problem-solving
techniques, the use of standardized tests, and improving
documentation skills. A Mowder seminar also stresses the importance
of using an interdisciplinary team approach that will build the best
work environment for the therapist and the patient.
All aspects of our
events are of the highest quality. Mowder seminars make use of
digital video showing actual patient treatments of the interventions
discussed. Each of the course handouts contains extensive research
references with a complete bibliography. All our seminars have
continuing education approvals in the state the seminar is located
and nearby states. Our registration process is easy and flexible.
Register online, by phone toll free 24/7, fax, or mail. We offer
discounts for groups of three or more. At the conclusion of the
seminars, we very carefully review your comments and improve our
service and course content.
We encourage you to read our
testimonials. We are sure you will find the words
of our past seminar attendees convincing. We look forward to seeing
you soon at a Mowder seminar!
